Windsor

Windsor is a town of approximately 15,500 people located equal distances from Greeley, Loveland and Fort Collins.

Historically a farming community, Windsor has been the focal point of very considerable growth in the past decade, doubling in population.

Major employers include Kodak Colorado Division, Packaging Corporation of America, Universal Forest Products, Metal Container Corporation, and now the Owens-Illinois General bottling plant. What was once a sleepy little town by a lake has now been termed “…the Aspen of the front range,” with beautiful new subdivisions and tons of amenities, like the Poudre River Trail and almost 70 acres in developed parks. In particular, Water Valley subdivision is one of the premier developments in all of Colorado, with over 700 acres of lakes and open space, a new clubhouse with an Olympic pool and beachfront, and a beautiful, championship golf course.

Windsor also boasts an outstanding school system, Weld County RE-4, home of the Wizards.
